Celebrating the Life of Seputla Sebogodi (1962–2026)

The South African arts community is mourning the loss of legendary actor and musician Seputla Sebogodi, who passed away on July 15, 2026, at the age of 63 due to diabetes complications.

A Master of the CraftSebogodi was a towering figure in South African television, theatre, and film, boasting a career that spanned over three decades.

He became a household name through his masterful portrayal of the villainous tycoon Kenneth Mashaba on the iconic soapie Generations.
